Global Educational Activities 国際教育活動 

これまで、学生の国際力強化を目標とした「グローバル課題解決型学習（gPBL）ワークショップ」を継続的に企画、運営してきた。開催にあたっては、所属先の芝浦工業大学のみならず、スリランカ、台湾、タイ、イタリア、ドイツ等、海外の数校の協力を得て実施している。本ワークショップ（gPBL）では、言語や文化の異なる学生達が混合でチームを結成し、約2週間、技術的な問題の解決にチームで取り組む。各回の詳細について下記に掲載する。

Chinthaka Premachandra has been conducting several global project based learning (gPBL) activities  having cooperation from Shibaura Institute of technology where he serves as an associate professor and some universities in Srilanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Italy and Germany. The main aim of these workshops is to give international exposure for students. In these workshops, technology-related problems are given to student teams to be solved within a couple of weeks, where each student team is composed of few students under different cultural backgrounds.  The information of so far gPBL activities is as below.

Project contents: Autonomous wheel chair control,  Development of Drones, Robot hand control, Image processing, Object detection by distance data analysis 

 課題の関連内容：車椅子の自動走行、ドローン製作、ロボットアーム制御、画像処理、深度データ処理により物体認識
